Starla's Relationships

Roy

Her little booboo! Her puppy! From the moment she first saw him she knew she ahd to had him. Starla is naturally attracted to musicians and men that she thinks will be submissive, but what she realy loves about him is his dopey kindness. Sometimes, Starla feels so overwhelmed by how much she likes him that she will try to push him away in order to save herself from potential heartbreak. Roy, however, feels just as strongly towards her and has no plans to break up with her.

Desmond

When Desmond was born, Starla had very limited contact with him because she was still struggling to control her vampiric nature. Because of that she missed out on some critical bonding with him and when she finally was able to spend time with him she realized he was so closely bonded with his dad that she didn't feel like he needed her. From that point on she always was somewhat distant from him, even though she loved him she found it hard to see herself as his mom and navigated motherhood more like an older sister. Now that Desmond is an adult she feels like they have more common ground and their relationship is stronger than it was, but not perfect.

Amadeus

Ximena

Starla is a huge fan of Ximena and sees her as a close friend. This feeling is not mutual, but Starla seems completely oblivious to Ximena's hatred of her. Starla admires Ximena for her boldness and musical talents. She sees Ximena as someone without insecurity who seizes life and Starla wishes she could be that too.
